I continuously receive text messages from this number, claiming that I won a gift card from CVS. The texter actually uses a curse word, telling me to go to the "damn" site! I unsubscribed, but to no avail. I've got to get rid of this.

The number might be a spoofed. I think they don't want you to know who is calling, and that is a bad sign; it means they are up to no good and starting with a lie. You don't need to be talking to crooks, block the numbers. In general, if you call back, they just keep calling and calling...

They called at 8:30 pm eastern on a tuesday eve. at my business listed number,"LOCAL WEB" on caller ID and i called back, got meessage to "dial 1" for placement on their DNC list

Our business received a call from this number at 2032 hrs this Sunday evening. There was no one on the other end. The caller ID said: "LOCAL WEB." For the lark of it, I called the number back and got an automated message thanking me for my call and telling me to press "1" if I wanted to be on their do-not-call list. What bloody scam/spam idiot calls a business at 8:32 pm on a Sunday?! Clueless losers, apparently.

8:32 pm - same thing - annoyingly rang for 10 rings - nothing there when we picked up.
This caller left a message indicating sales for google ad space. This is a telemarketer calling on a Sunday evening...very rude.
We also got a phone call from this number. Caller ID said Local Web. I answered but no one on the other end. What a waste on time.

Called at 8:46 Sunday night. (Voice mail) Telemarketer said his name was John Pearson, data service provider for Google, Yahoo and Bing and he could GUARANTEE #1 ranking on these services. Left a toll free number 888-241-6004. Caller ID said LOCAL WEB and listed the phone number as 269-288-1030.
Very same thing happened to our business at 8:30pm. No person on the line.
